I have always loved horses and was particularly Inspired by the current horse racing scenes, Kentucky Derby and the Preakness. With the visions of those wonderful animals, brilliant riders in such a fabulous facility, I just had to paint the two images on FAA. I hope you feel the rush!
About John Henne
BIOGRAPHY: John’s creative drive evolved while growing up among artistic family members in Venice, Florida. John has sketched and painted throughout his life and after a successful career in the corporate world; he departed in 1996 to focus on his art. He has attended selected art classes at the University of South Florida and Hillsborough Community College, as well as many seminars. Part of the educational process was a six-week tour of Europe visiting most of the major museums to absorb the essence of art history. John is active in the art community: he is founder and current board member of the North Tampa Arts League, has been a board member of the Arts Council of Hillsborough County and is a member (past chairman) of the Artist...
